Do You Allow P2P File Transfers?

YES we do! However, only on select servers marked with the Floppy Disk icon on our Status Page

But Why?

Well, even though we believe in a FREE and OPEN internet, we are still based in the USA that does have DMCA laws.

Unfortunately, most people do not encrypt their P2P traffic and use it for illegal purposes other than downloading Linux ISOs.

The servers that allow P2P traffic are in countries that do not have DMCA laws, or do not respond to those requests.

In Detail

We block connections using a list of most popular trackers that is updated weekly.

No connection attempts, successes, failures or drops are recorded.

This is internal to each endpoint and not visible to anyone or saved anywhere with logs piped to /dev/null.
